After over a year of being isolated due to Covid concern, we are resuming our in-person meetings. The first meeting being on Monday, May 3rd at the Russellville Western Sizzlin. The business meeting will start at 6:30 pm. Come earlier if you want to eat dinner and fellowship with your fellow Beeks.
A word about Covid: The club (River Valley Beekeepers Association) is not imposing any mandates (e.g. masks, social distancing etc.) other than any that the restaurant requires. The folks at Western Sizzlin inform me that they do not have any Covid restrictions for their patrons. They do require that their staff wear masks and gloves are provided for accessing the food bar. So, your fellow beekeepers may or may not be wearing masks and may or may not practice social distancing. If this makes you uncomfortable, it may be best if you avoid the meeting. By now I’m sure you know the Covid symptoms. If you have symptoms or are not feeling well, please stay home.
After a year off, we’ll have club business to take care of and do our best to answer your beekeeping questions. Other than that, we do not have a program planned. Hope to see you there.
